Western Region Working Group (WRWG)

The Western Region Working Group (WRWG) commenced on November 1, 2013 for a three-phase term ending in March 2016. The WRWG has a total of eight members representing the umbrella organizations in British Columbia, Yukon Territory, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba[1]. The group has been established to represent the western region settlement and integration sector by working in a collaborative inter-provincial/territorial effort. In order to accomplish this goal, the WRWG is guided by a logic model (submitted to and approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada) and terms of reference. The initiative intends to complete a strategic planning process to address the emerging needs in the Western Region, particularly in the area of settlement and integration service provision.
